Instructions

  • Combine chickpeas, parsley, cilantro, red onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper in a food processor.
  • Pulse the mixture until it is coarsely ground.
  • Pulse the breadcrumbs and flour into the chickpea mixture until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into four patties.
  • Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Patties should be cooked for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  • Toast the hamburger buns.
  • Burgers should be assembled with falafel patties, crumbled feta cheese, lettuce, and red onion slices.
