Cheeseburger with Bacon and Mushrooms Recipe

This bacon and mushroom cheeseburger is a delicious twist on a classic favourite. The juicy beef patty is sandwiched between two soft and toasty buns and topped with crispy bacon, tender mushrooms, and melted cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy.
  • Set aside after removing from the skillet.
  • Sauté the mushrooms in the same skillet until they are tender.

  • Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and shape each into a patty.
  • Season each patty to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the patties in a skillet over medium-high heat until done to your liking, 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  • Place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt during the last minute of cooking.
  • Toast the hamburger buns in the oven or on a griddle.
  • Put a patty on the bottom bun, followed by a slice of bacon, a spoonful of sautéed mushrooms, and the top bun.
  • Serve right away and enjoy.
